Bolo-Polo is a great new game for people of all ages
and is now available for licensing!
Bolo-Polo is a toss game consisting of one goal
and two sets of three bolos. Points are scored by wrapping the bolos around any of the
three scoring bars on the goals.
Like most toss games, mastering the game takes
practice, but the rules are simple. Each player or team is given three bolos. The player
stands 21 feet from the goal and tosses each of the bolos toward the goal. Points are
scored by wrapping the bolos around the 10, 15, or 25 point scoring bars. Although rare,
it is possible for one bolo to wrap around two of the scoring bars. If this happens, the
player earns points for both scoring bars. After the first player has thrown all three bolos,
the second player throws each of his three bolos in the same manner. If the second player
wraps a bolo around a scoring bar that already holds a scoring bolo from the opposing player
or team, the points for both bolos are canceled. The player with the lowest score for the
round will throw first in the next round. The first player or team to reach 100 wins.
While Bolo-Polo is certainly a wonderful yard game, the lightweight bolos make it a perfect
game for the garage, basement, or gym as well. The lightness of the game pieces also makes
Bolo-Polo and enjoyable game for young children and older alduts since strength and stamina
are not major limiting factors.
